Privacy notice.

What we collect

• Account data — email, display name (from your Google account if you signed in with Google OAuth), avatar URL.
• Uploads — product images you submit to Marketing Studio, and reference photos you submit to AI Character Studio.
• Generated outputs — the videos, frames, and avatar images Skena renders for you.
• Usage telemetry — generation events, credits spent, error codes, timestamps. Anonymized and used for service improvement.
• Payment data — once the public payment gateway is live, payment details will be handled by our payment partner (not stored on Skena servers beyond a transaction reference). No payment data is collected during the closed alpha.

How we use it

• To run generations and deliver the service
• To bill correctly and process refunds
• To detect abuse / illegal content
• To send transactional emails (job completion, billing receipts, account changes)
• For service improvement via aggregate anonymized analytics

We do notsell your data, and we don't use your uploads to train public AI models.

Where it lives

• Database — managed Postgres, region: Singapore.
• Object storage — managed object storage, region: APAC. Files served via short-lived signed URLs (1-hour expiry).
• AI processing— third-party AI providers. Uploads leave Skena's infrastructure briefly to be processed and return as generated assets.

Authentication

You can sign up with email + password, or with your Google account via OAuth. We don't collect any other identity-provider data. Sessions are managed by our auth provider via a secure HTTP-only cookie.

Your rights under UU PDP

• Access — request a copy of your data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request account + data deletion
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — opt out of certain processing

Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Uploads and generated assets are kept until you delete them (per-item or account-wide). After account deletion, all your data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required for tax / legal reasons (typically 5 years for transaction records, once such records exist).

Cookies + analytics

Skena uses essential cookies for authentication (auth session) and a privacy-friendly analytics tool for aggregate page metrics. We don't use third-party tracking cookies.
